The Scots College visit to MCNF

The Mulloon Institute was visited again by The Scots College this March, with nine Year 12 Agricultural Science students spending a day out at Mulloon Creek Natural Farms.

Field trips explored step diffusion systems in a steep valley and leaky weirs, while more detailed sessions involving monitoring of ephemeral creeks, and tour of recent on-ground works in the Mulloon Community Landscape Rehydration Project.

Much worthwhile discussion was had during the day and students were encouraged to consider how landscape function could be potentially improved on their own family properties.
