Landholders visit MCLRP Stage 1 works

Pete Hazell recently took landholders from the Mulloon catchment along a section of Mulloon Creek to see how works are progressing in the Mulloon Community Landscape Rehydration Project. It was a great opportunity to give landholders an idea of how the creek works and revegetation will take place on their own farms. Many of them were impressed with how quickly the structures could be built once approval was given for their construction. They were also impressed with how much work goes into getting the required Controlled Activity Approvals before work can begin!

On ground activities will recommence in spring, starting at the Mulloon and Westview properties. If you are interested in volunteering to lend a hand with landscaping work or planting seedlings, we'd love to hear from you via peter@themullooninstitute.org
