Henry Burt

B Civil Eng (Hons), B Com (Business Economics)

Landscape Planner

Henry is a water resources engineer passionate about restoring the natural processes and health of Australian landscapes. After finishing his studies, he worked for a large engineering consultancy and has experience across hydraulic and hydrological modelling in urban areas and throughout the Murray Darling Basin. He has also worked on groundwater modelling and environmental impact assessments.

Henry applies his engineering background to understand the technical engineering and design elements of various interventions that can be used throughout landscapes. He has a particular focus on the unique hydraulics of waterways in order to design landscape rehydration works that are resilient to high flow events and designed appropriately to the characteristics of the catchment and local terrain.
