Wilf is at the forefront of environmental market development in Australia, with over 20 years of experience in environmental law and markets across water, carbon and environmental sectors.

As Chair of Eco-Markets Australia, Australia’s first independent environmental market administrator, Wilf is developing the Great Barrier Reef and Cassowary Credit Schemes and has recently launched a water improvement standard that will support the development of water quality markets around Australia and New Zealand. He is currently Chief Commercial and Legal Officer at Verity Nature, an international carbon project developer, where he serves as General Counsel, Company Secretary and AFSL Responsible Manager.

His government experience includes roles with the National Water Commission, WaterNSW and the NSW Natural Resources Commission, where he contributed to water licensing reforms and water market development. Wilf holds Masters in Environmental Science (water) from Australian National University Fenner School, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Wilf is a founding member of the pro-bono Mulloon Law Committee, which in partnership with governments and industry, is directly supporting the Institute’s mission to streamline approvals for beneficial environmental projects. He joined the Board of the Mulloon Institute in January 2024, and was appointed Chair in July 2025.
