Tony Wells

B Nat Res, Ass Dip Horticulture

LANDSCAPE PLANNER

Tony has over 20 years’ experience as an agricultural scientist with CSIRO and the NSW Department of Primary Industries, where he mainly focussed on environmental soil and water issues in intensive vegetable cropping and orchard situations, particularly soil health and sediment/nutrient losses. He has also worked with landholders on native biodiversity projects and has taught horticulture and soils in TAFE and in youth support organisations.

Since joining Mulloon, Tony has developed strong skills in assessing and analysing (reading) landscapes and planning and designing rehydration and restoration projects – using a mix of field work and desktop analysis via spatial data and hydrologic-hydraulic modelling.
