HARRIS FARM MARKETS & LOWE WINES

Harris Farm Markets’ success is the result of a long term commitment to specialise in quality fresh fruit, vegetables, delicatessen items and groceries.

Mulloon Creek Natural Farms and Harris Farm Markets have been working together for several years with Mulloon Creek eggs being a big seller in their stores. This popularity is because we provide high quality, pasture-raised, certified organic eggs from biodynamic pastures. Profits go towards The Mulloon Institute's research and regenerating Australian landscapes, which Harris Farm Markets has supported with a passion.

It is official, the quality of our eggs was formally recognised last month when Mulloon Creek Natural Farm eggs were judged Champion in the Commercial Egg Section at the prestigious Royal Canberra Poultry Show.

So it's easy to see why the Harris Farm family and The Mulloon Institute have been able to build such a strong partnership.

David Lowe is the fifth generation of agricultural innovators going back to the earliest settlement of Mudgee.

He is passionate about organic and bio-dynamic farming principles. Hence their fruit come from strong healthy plants, growing in soil that supports their ongoing health.

The Mudgee vineyards are untrellised, unirrigated and certified organic. Whilst this means lower yields a higher quality and healthier wine is produced. It is not sold in bottle shops or supermarkets, rather through the cellar door at Mudgee and the limited membership Lowe Foundation Wine Club.

Congratulations to David and his team who are so proud to be leaders because of their practical sustainable management in the vineyards.

Note: Entry to NSW Parliament House is via the Gatehouse on Macquarie Street, just next door to the State Library. On arrival you will be greeted by New South Wales Police Special Constables, who will ask you to place your bags and valuables on the conveyor belt before you proceed through our security scanners. Don’t let this worry you; it’s part of standard security procedure, and we like to think it adds to the experience of visiting Australia’s first and oldest Parliament! Once you arrive up the steps into the House, the Strangers’ Dining Room is situated on the opposite side of the water fountain.
